what is scary is

the non ghosts

or never magic

or listless witches

who have not lost their power, but

have never ever even have had them.

 

ghosts are like a hope

that there is magic behind

the flower unfolding

into a perfect math,

math to inhale and cure.

if such simple complexity

if it points to nothing,

that is where there is true terror.

ugh to the ego

ugh to desire

ugh to addict cycles

ugh to alarm

ugh to anything

that is not a quiet walk

to watch leaves turn

it’s time for our skeletons to grow larger

and into trees, outside of ourselves,

still governed by flesh.

we use farm stand bathrooms

and smell smells we can’t afford

to bring “home”: we must find

another way to carry

fall with us.

i never thought i wanted to see you

but you keep creeping in, like

the dense sea salt i’m keeping

in the corners of my heart

 

we have extended far beyond

our reach of being

cat feeders

dog home builders

gentle garden architects

and into some

pointless cerebral ego crisis.

to think that we are more than

a home for a cat shit parasite

that makes us take care of cats

is a bit of a stretch.

the gates of hell

are greenscreened into backs of eyelids

if it was as easy

as seeing the white worm,

being in the end times

for sure

instead, we

vaguebook apocalypse

nothing could be real

peek behind the curtain to see

curtains, curtains

all the way down

all remembered dreams

are

pink bellied birds

escaping,

crushed,

dissolved in skylines.

 

but i see him

when i finish broths i

can almost taste,

 

and,

first thing first light

in the morning

this birtjdaynwas weird

but what do you expect with a head cold and fake teeth and blood on my gym ribbon

 

at least i didnt cry wolf

and actually 2.minutesdamage my real fake teeth

under my fake fake teeth

it was fake stage blood what was punched out of me

sitting here in the white noise of remembering
